Enhance your weapons with magicite and combine effects with Faie's magic.
The quick answer
Find Magicite Fragments from enemies and chests, then form them into finished magicite at the town shop. Socket magicite into your weapons for effects, then chain those effects with Elliot's attacks and Faie's magic — the standout combos are Ripe Bomb + Ignite and Extra Throw + Copy (four boomerangs).
How magicite enhancement works
- Collect Fragments. Magicite Fragments drop randomly from enemies and appear in treasure chests.
- Form magicite at the shop. The result is random (gacha-like), but you can bias the type by weapon. Forming more often raises your rank, improving the odds of rarer magicite.
- Mind the cost. Every magicite has a fixed equip cost; you equip as many as fit under a total cost limit. The shopkeeper can raise that limit for a fee. Each weapon has its own cost limit — weapons don't share one.
- Rarer is better. Rarer versions of the same effect are stronger AND cheaper to equip, which frees up room for more magicite.

Build tip — push the limits
Some effects reward going past the “safe” line — for example, using the shield past its breaking point can trigger flying-slash magicite. Build around the risk instead of avoiding it.
