Magicite & Magicite Fragments
Magicite Fragments drop from enemies and chests; take them to the town shop and form them into finished Magicite — enhancement stones you slot into individual weapons. Shard of Life (and Shrine of Life)
Shard of Life fully heals Elliot the instant you grab it and banks a vitality upgrade — collect four to gain a heart of max health. They come from Shrine of Life trials and chests. Tip: hold off on healing until after you open a chest, in case it holds a Shard.

What's the difference between Life Drop and Shard of Life?
A Life Drop is a small ground pickup that restores some HP (and only appears when you're below full). A Shard of Life is a key item that fully heals you and permanently raises your max vitality once you collect four.
